To start off the new year of spotlights we would like to share with you Kerlon Williams. Here is his story
”Becoming a WalkOn meant that I had the opportunity to join a brotherhood of young men, that had similar aspirations as myself.
It gave me the chance to prove myself on the mental and physical aspects of the game to coaches and players, who probably had never noticed the talent in me before.
It meant that I had to work my way from the bottom of the dept chart to the top, which most players wouldn’t do.
It taught me whatever you set your mind to, it can be accomplished through hard work and a positive mindset. It taught me that there was no room for excuses in life, instead have the mind set to overcome and move forward.
Thank you Kerlon for sharing your story.
